Announcing: New NIH Conference Travel Scholarship for Providers and Medical Students!

#MEAction is thrilled to announce a new travel scholarship for providers and medical students to the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Conference, Advancing ME/CFS Research: Identifying Targets for Intervention and Learning from Long COVID, this coming December 12- 13, 2023 in Bethesda, MD.  

#MEAction is providing this opportunity for one to two promising medical students (MD, DO, NP,  or PA)  and one to two practicing medical providers (MD, DO, NP, or PA). All scholarship recipients must live in the United States. 

#MEAction’s sponsorship includes affordable travel and lodging. Registration is free for the conference. Visit the NIH event page to view the agenda, speakers, and current registrants. Funding for the travel scholarship is provided by a family foundation and will be awarded to the most qualified applicants based on application review.  Black, Indigenous, and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

The due date is November 17th at 11:59pm ET. Again,this opportunity is only available to medical students and health care providers who reside in the United States.
