The holidays are upon us! As you go about shopping for family and friends – or making gift suggestions – don’t forget about these wonderful gifts made by people with myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME). We love to take every opportunity to support our community of crafters, authors, small business owners and artists.
Also, #MEAction’s holiday shop is open! Shop here. We can ship to the US, Canada, and Mexico. We also have holiday cards available in the UK, as well.
Julie from Carnoux-en-Provence, France created Steampunk and vintage jewelry before she got sick. She now has severe ME, but continues to sell her jewelry via Etsy. She can ship all over the world.
Wreaths & Centerpieces
Sue-Ann crafts wreaths and centerpieces made from wire forms, deco mesh and ribbons, bows and ornaments! She sells via eBay. Sue has had ME for most of her life, and has been unable to work since 2014.
Coffee Table Book
Rebecca is a painter from Ithaca, NY, who works in abstract, iconic and figurative images on wood.
Rebecca describes her work this way: “I love bold colors, contrast, movement, texture and layers. I read and write and think every day. I love asking questions. I love finding connections between things. I care deeply about giving exploration and voice to uncomfortable topics. That’s the me who comes to the studio when I create.”
