#MEAction Scotland is running an email campaign between 11-15 May targeting newly elected Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs).

The Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) taking their seats in the Parliament on 12 May. We are taking this opportunity to highlight ME Awareness Week, encouraging our community to ‘introduce’ themselves to their new MSPs and remind returning members that we are still here and still fighting.

​

The outgoing government finally gave money to ME in the last budget of the parliament. Following pressure from the wider chronic illness community, they committed to annual funding for ME services. We are determined to ensure that there is no backsliding and that this parliament is one which delivers meaningful change for people with ME, including those with severe or very severe ME, in the shape of NICE-compliant care and services.
