Thank The Senate Resolution Co-Sponsors!

Thank The Senate Resolution Co-Sponsors!

This past weekend we celebrated the passing of the bipartisan Senate Resolution, S.Res. 225, in honor of International ME/CFS Awareness Day. Now is the time to thank the lead sponsors, Senator Markey and Collins, plus the other 13 Senators who co-sponsored this historic resolution!!

Two Ways to Show Your Thanks:

  1. Send a thank you email or card to the senators’ offices, particularly if you have a contact within that office. You can find addresses here.
  2. Post on social media! A sample post is drafted below or feel free to craft your own. Also, we have provided the senators’ social media handles for both Twitter and Facebook.

Here is a sample post for you to use:

“@SenatorsName THANK YOU for co-sponsoring bipartisan S.Res 225 in honor of International #MEcfs Awareness Day! The Senate’s formal acknowledgement of the ME crisis & the need for more action means so much to people with #MyalgicE! Your support is greatly appreciated!”
