Advocacy Week Local Actions

***UPDATE: THIS ACTION IS NOW OVER***

ADVOCACY WEEK LOCAL ACTIONS

As many of you know, Advocacy day is April 3rd in DC. Activists will be traveling from around the United States to have meetings with their elected officials to demand recognition and action for people with ME. No matter if you are in DC in person, or you are participating virtually, your actions are important and can really make a difference to the offices of our Senators! Actions for your Representatives are coming soon!

Here are the three ways you can get involved if you are not traveling to DC:

  1. Senate Call-Action Handbook
  2. Social Media Handbook
  3. Local Meeting Handbook

The Call-Action Handbook provides you with scripts to call your Senators to ask them to take action for the millions of people with ME. While the Social Media Handbook, provides you with some selfie ideas and sample posts/images to share on April 3rd. We hope to have a large social media imprint on April 3rd and your posts can make that happen And for those of you who are interested in meeting locally in the district office of your Member of Congress, we created the Local Meeting Handbook for you to reference.

From your own home, you can make a difference. In fact, your actions matter greatly!
