UK: Urge your MP to attend the 21st June debate on ME

A 3-hour Westminster Hall debate on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) treatment and research has been scheduled for Thursday, 21st June, 1:30-4:30 p.m. We need to encourage as many of our MPs as possible to attend. Contacting your MP has never been easier with this new tool. Simply enter your postcode below to get started. Urge your MP to both attend the Westminster Hall debate, and review the parliamentary briefing, to learn about the need for greater biomedical research, medical education and public awareness for ME. And after you’ve shared your story, make sure to share this page with friends and family!
INSTRUCTIONS: Click the “Contact Your MP” button below and then enter your postcode on the next page to get started. A model letter to your MP will automatically generate. You can then further personalize before sending.

FOLLOW-UP FORM: If you get a response from your MP please take a minute to share their response with us using this brief follow-up form.

  1. Richard Drax Dorset South MP invited. Automated email response. Yeah I don`t think he`ll be attending somehow :/

  2. Please please please attend this. I have had ME for 24 years. I went from working full time and leading a very active life climbing Munro’s and travelling the world to being housebound most of the time and feel like I have the most awful flu all the time and am indescribably exhausted. Something needs to change.
Too many people are really suffering and are hidden away from society. Thank you.

  3. We know one person who has ME , and she needs this research to be done and properly funded.
