#MEAction is thrilled to announce that it has received a $50,000 donation from the Pineapple Fund, an anonymous donor who is one of the largest holders of Bitcoin in the world.
“The #MEAction community is incredibly grateful to the Pineapple Foundation for helping our organization support the work of activists across the world fight for change for people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis,” said #MEAction Co-Founder, Jennifer Brea.

This is a crucial time for #MEAction as we are working to translate the momentum from the Unrest documentary into real change for people with ME by building community and supporting the work of activists across the world fight for change.
Key members of the Unrest team who made the dissemination and publicity of the film such a success are now shifting their focus to support the work of #MEAction.
Since its inception last December, the Pineapple Fund has donated over $53 million to 58 charities, including donating $5 million to the Open Medicine Foundation (OMF) for research into ME/CFS.
