UK: Ask your MP to support release of PACE

If you’d like to get involved in International M.E. Awareness Month but don’t know where to start, or are simply too unwell to get stuck in, then this may be the perfect place to start.
I am very pleased to share with you a template letter which you can print and post to your MP. The letter details the true nature of the condition, the current medical and social climate for sufferers, and concludes with an invitation to attend the APPG meeting on M.E. this Wednesday, 11th May and support the removal of psychiatry from M.E.
Printing and sending the memo will not only give you the opportunity to open a pathway of awareness within your community, but will lock you arm in arm with M.E. sufferers across the country. Unifying British M.E. patients through communication speaks volumes, and shows a powerful front ahead of events this International M.E. Awareness Month.

If you want to connect on a personal level with your MP, consider adding a note about your M.E. story. You could even add a photo of your shoes proudly on display outside your front door or driveway. In fact, a specialised version of this letter was signed by myself and sent to David Cameron PM just a few short days ago.
Print your copy of the letter now and get involved this International M.E. Awareness Month.
