FUNDRAISER: Please Donate to Anne's Surgery Fund

Anne LiConti is a member of the ME/CFS community who needs our help to obtain a life-saving surgery.

Anne’s uterine fibroids have grown so large and numerous that her uterus is now the size of a 14-week pregnancy.

This March, I was stricken with extreme complications: uterine hemorrhage from the fibroids. I started having orthostatic and near syncopal episodes and was unable to stand. My son finally had to come to my house and assisted me into his car to take me to the fire house down the block so that the paramedics could check me out. They loaded me into their ambulance and rushed me to the hospital….the hematologist on call who came to see me stated “next time you may not be so lucky.”

Anne has not been able to work in her original career as a nurse since the late 1990s; without our help, she will have to declare bankruptcy in order to get the hysterectomy she needs. She has already raised over $2,000, but must raise a total of $7,000 in order to be able to afford the percentage of the procedure not covered by her insurance. Even small donations will help Anne reach her goal! Please consider donating to her YouCaring fundraising page by clicking the link below. Donate today!
