Pillow Crafters – Group Crafting Sessions

A People with ME and Long COVID Craft group! Come,try it out!!
#MEAction is excited to partner with members of the Pillow Writers group to introduce a new creative gathering for people who like to create arts and crafts, the “Pillow Crafters” group!
The Pillow Crafters meetings are part “Show & Tell” and part “Creative Expression of Life with ME/CFS”.
Whether you want to knit and natter, crochet and chatter, or just come along to be inspired, you’re welcome at our new monthly meetings. We don’t distinguish between art and craft; we don’t evaluate work on its artistic merits; we’re all just here for fun. Our primary goal is to enjoy the many therapeutic benefits of creative activity, if we happen to create masterpieces, well that’s ok too!
There’s no pressure because as with all Pillows groups, we understand ME and Long COVID. Come and go as you please or need, do as much or as little as you feel like and above all enjoy the fabulous and inspiring company.
The group will be offered the first Monday of each month from 11am Pacific/1pm Columbia/2pm Eastern/7pm UK and will be an hour long. Members of the group will be able to drop in or out throughout the time and attend when they are able. There will be an email update between sessions, so we will be collecting emails during our sessions. We are also planning some random extra sessions which will be on a Wednesday and these will be instruction and discussion classes to share knowledge about different crafts. Our virtual group sessions will take place over BlueJeans. If you have not used BlueJean’s before, you can use this link to test your video and audio before the call. Additionally, here is the link for BlueJeans support. All are welcome and we encourage others to invite those interested to attend.
