#MEAction Scotland publishes refreshed strategic priorities

#MEAction Scotland has refreshed and updated its strategic priorities for the period 2024-2026, in anticipation of the expected Scottish Parliament elections in May 2026.

We continue to work towards our vision of a Scotland where health and social care professionals, politicians and policy makers, and the general public understand and support people with ME and treat them with respect.

Our strategic priorities outline our planned approaches and activities. This is led by our purpose, which spans three key areas:

  • To raise awareness of the devastating impact of ME
  • To campaign for effective support for adults and children and young people with ME.
  • To campaign for, promote and encourage participation in healthcare education for doctors and other healthcare professionals.

While this document provides a framework for our campaigning, we will continue to respond to topical issues and opportunities as they come up.
